Renovation of an Old School

This project just outside Clevedon in North Somerset includes a two storey extension to an old school, as internal renovation and structural alterations. The existing property was converted in the 1980s and has an unusual internal layout which is compromised by the existing roof trusses, limiting the usability of the spaces.

The internal layout has been reconfigured to create an open plan kitchen and dining area with a new connection out onto a south facing patio. An additional living space and bedroom is provided by a new two storey rear extension which replaces the existing conservatory.
